About the Role:
Provides project leadership to provide financial analysis and partner with the assigned group to perform planning, financial forecasting, budget-to-actual variance reporting and financial modeling for assigned group. Implements best practices in bio pharmaceuticals financial planning and analysis (FP&A) utilizing data driven analysis for financial planning and general business and financial analyses._
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Acts as the senior business partner for the assigned organization as an embedded resource to deliver continuous improvements and data-driven business insights. Leads initiatives to develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. Develops financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial reports and associated variance reporting to budget and prior periods. Partners with the assigned organization's forecasting lead to create an annual revenue forecast and long-range plan and support the quarterly latest estimate process
Leads technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc. Prepares financial analyses to support business requirements, resource allocation and decision making, including analyzing business opportunities, breakeven analysis, incentive comp/commissions analysis and return on investment for marketing initiatives and commission incentives
Leads economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements
Monitors and provides monthly revenue and/or expense analyses on complex projects/problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of tangible and intangible variables
Drives reporting standardization (commercial vs. finance metrics)
Supports the accounting function by assisting with the periodic contract accruals
Challenges and develops current process and methodologies and pushes for improvement
Performs other functions and projects as assigned by the Senior Management
May work on other project that are specific to the assigned organization
Other duties as assigned
BS/BA degree in finance, accounting or related field and 8+ years of finance or accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience with biopharma organization preferred. FP&A systems experience OR
Master's degree or MBA preferred and 6+ years of similar experience noted above
CPA or CFA preferred
Anticipates business and industry issues; recommends relevant process / technical / service improvements
Demonstrates broad expertise or unique knowledge
Considered an expert within the company and may have external presence in area of expertise
Applies in-depth expertise in discipline and broad knowledge of other closely related areas to improve efficiency of team
Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams
Excellent project leadership, mentoring skills and abilities typically leads lower levels and/or indirect teams
Excellent computer skills
Sees broader picture and longer-term impact on division/company

FP&A systems expertise
Ability to bridge communication gaps between finance and non-finance communities
US GAAP knowledge
Must be computer proficient including advanced user level of Microsoft Excel

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $142,700.00-$206,975.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
