Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Information Systems team as a Business Analyst Intern.
Project Overview:
The role of a Business Analyst is an integral part of any IT organization. They act as the key interface between the users and the developers as they gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users. The Business Analyst Intern will learn the requirements gathering and documentation process for creating new dashboards and documenting critical IT projects and processes. They will interview subject matter experts on their processes and document data flows. They will work with IT team members to develop project planning processes and determine the best solution for organizing and communicating current and future projects and timelines for the team. They will review the data warehouse processes and tasks for streamlining and provide suggestions for optimization.
Project Milestones:
- Develop dashboard requirements gathering document.
- Document requirements for a new dashboard request.
- Work with Supply Chain subject matter experts to document process flows, current metrics and KPIs.
- Review fields in the tables from the data warehouse and determine which fields are missing from the applications and need to be added to tables.
- Work with NetSuite Team to map User Interface fields to underlying tables in data warehouse.
- Prepare and deliver a presentation summarizing (project) to the IT team and Maravai leadership.
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Must be pursing an undergraduate degree, currently in the Junior year or first semester of senior year. Preferred areas of study are Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics.
The Summer Internship Program is a 9 week program beginning on June 17, 2024 through August 16, 2024.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
