Join Optum Behavioral Health Solutions (OBHS) as a Business Analyst. OBHS is one of the largest behavioral health networks in the country with more than 300,000 providers serving 37 million individuals. OBHS supports and engages people with mental health conditions or substance use disorders through our performance-tiered behavioral health network.

Must reside in the San Diego, CA area.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for assisting in system setup and maintenance in the County of San Diego's electronic health record. Staff will process state reporting on a monthly basis. Staff will run utilities in the EHR on a daily basis. Staff will test system upgrades as applicable. Staff will conduct system research to review and resolve user reported problems. Staff will be involved in special projects (sometimes serving as the project manager), workgroups and implementations as needed. Staff will be expected to work independently to solve complex problems. Staff should have solid proficiency in Microsoft excel.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of healthcare experience
  • Familiarity with Coding
  • Intermediate and higher Excel skills (v-lookups, pivots, etc.)
  • Resides within a commutable distance of San Diego

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Managed Care experience
  • SQL coding familiarity

California Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
