Sauk Valley Community College, a comprehensive community college located in a picturesque rural setting invites applications from innovative individuals for an on-campus Adjunct Agriculture Business Faculty position.

 

Located in rural northwestern Illinois, along the scenic Rock River between the cities of Dixon and Sterling, the College is one hour from Rockford and the Quad Cities and two hours west of Chicago.

 

Responsibilities:

Teach AGR 150; Intro to Agriculture Business Management, Fall Semester 2024.
Organization and structure of agricultural businesses; resource evaluation, policy development and implementation, functions of management, and laws and taxes that affect business.

To be cognizant of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses. Reports directly to the Dean of Business, Career, and Technical Education who is the supervisor over the position.

 

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Agriculture Business or related required.
