Business Intelligence Applications Analyst is needed for a direct hire opportunity with our Entertainment client located in San Diego, CA.

Schedule: Hybrid Tuesday/Wednesday
Base Salary: $80,000+ (Final Pay TBD)


The Business Intelligence Analyst works with the business intelligence Reporting team. The team is responsible for working closely with the business and technical teams and is a contributor to the definition and analysis of how information assets drive business outcomes and is responsible for the development and maintenance of business intelligence and reporting tools, and this role will take on a portion of these duties as well as maintaining the business intelligence and reporting tools, which will include enhancements to existing reports, structures with some development.. This person has knowledge and experience of data structures, data modeling, and data warehousing strategies. They understand how data is turned into knowledge to support business decisions and possess an understanding of the business environment, competitive landscape and market.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Data/Information Science or Information Technology or Equivalent Work experience with a minimum of a Degree in Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
  • 1 + years professional experience in business applications from various source systems
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Power Query. Working use of Power Pivot and Power BI
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to work in a team and individual environment self driven within the responsibilities of this role.
  • Previous Internship or Work Experience in Data Analytics
