In order to support ASML growth and maturity it is of increasing importance that we introduce Operational Excellence in all our processes and meet Safety, Quality, People, Production, Lean, Planning & Logistics, Engineering and Financial targets. The Business Analyst role supports all departments in the San Diego Factory, and the functions of this role are a combination of periodic reporting, data analysis, business processes creation, analysis and improvement, as well as operational activities.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Manage reporting and analytics requests
  • Support as an analyst with structural or on demand reports, analysis and information.
  • Manage SharePoint (one source of truth) for San Diego Factory
  • Participate in cross functional teams on topics such as Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A), Performance Management, Business Engineering and Data Services and Analytics
  • Drive process adherence within these cross functional teams and identify improvement opportunities for San Diego Factory.
  • Participate on improvement projects.
  • Support the reporting of Best Known Methods implementation from all ASML competence centers where San Diego Factory participates.
  • ASML Performance Management (APM) tool key user and support.
  • Support Sr. Business Analyst additional administrative needs (Presentation for Showcase, Jira alignment, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data gathering, reporting and analysis or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel - possessing the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data.
  • Experience with Spotfire (or similar software) report creation and maintenance
  • Knowledge/hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Knowledge in SharePoint administrative work

Other information

This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $72,750-$121,250. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
