Terms of Employment: 225 day contract
Position Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education, Business, Marketing, Training and Development or related fields.
- At last 5 years of experience in business development, partnership management, , or a related role preferably within an educational or nonprofit setting.
- Familiarity with continuum of work-based learning programs and processes.
- Experience in facilitating groups of various sizes and managing multiple projects
- Excellent analytical skills and can analyze data and market trends to identify business opportunities and make informed decisions.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, demonstrate empathy and manage conflicts effectively.
Performance Criteria:
- Partnership Development: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to build partnerships with businesses, non-profits, and community organizations. Develop strategies to engage potential partners in supporting district initiatives.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with district leadership, school administrators, and teachers to understand needs and align business partnerships with district priorities and goals.
- Partner with leaders both inside and outside the organization to collaborate and ensure meaningful results from our strategic initiatives.
- Develop deep domain knowledge of the District’s organizational functions and communicate those to individuals, teams, and organizations to drive value and meaningful results
- Build cross-functional relationships for the convergence of value for business partners, community organizations….list others (and K-12 Programming)
- Manage client accounts and act as the key point of contact from the company.
- Actively establish and maintain positive relationships with existing partners by providing exceptional customer service, listening to their needs, and addressing their concerns.
- Research the newest industry trends and emerging markets in conjunction with business partners, advisory boards, and the WILC Program Administrator to help grow curriculum and opportunities for students.
- Collaborate with the district communications team and Career Services Coordinator regarding job opportunities, learning events, and other supports available through the Career Services office.
- Collaborates to recruit, develop, retain and monitor business and industry partners that result in the following: curriculum input, guest speakers, guest instructors, job shadows, informational interviews, mentorships, internships, gifting of assets such as satellite space, equipment, etc.
- Collaborating with administration, teachers, staff and decision-makers to create a postsecondary-readiness and workforce/college-going culture
- Approach new and/or potential businesses to cultivate fruitful relationships.
- Needs Assessment and Requirements Gathering: Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify challenges, and understand processes.
- Event and Program Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement partnership programs, events, and initiatives that enhance the educational experience for students and staff.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Establish performance metrics for partnerships and regularly evaluate their effectiveness. Prepare detailed reports and updates for district leadership and stakeholders.
- Community Engagement: Represent the district at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to build awareness and foster relationships with potential partners.
