Location: Winona, MN

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $50,000 – $65,000

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position plays a key role in driving HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with full-cycle recruitment.
• Manage new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns and assisting with conflict resolution.
• Administer benefits programs and serve as a liaison between employees and providers.
• Payroll processing and employment tax submissions
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Coordinate training and professional development initiatives.
• Coordinate HR projects, policy updates, and organizational initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization, or within the human services industry.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
