Job Summary


 

The Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration seeks applicants for a non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Management and Marketing beginning August 1, 2024. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate's area of expertise and providing service to the department, college, and University.

The Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration programs are accredited by the AACSB placing the College among the top 5% of business colleges worldwide; additionally, the Accounting program maintains a separate AACSB accreditation. We offer a challenging curriculum using essential real-life learning experiences that prepare our students for a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities


 

Department Summary

 

Teaching up to 15 credit hours per semester (Fall and Spring) and providing service to the department, college, and University. Courses to be taught include Management and Organization Behavior, AI in Entrepreneurship, Management Information Systems, etc.

Typical Allocation of Duties

Teaching and Service - 100%
Teaches classes and meets assigned service obligations.

Required Qualifications

 
  • Master of Business Administration degree or a Masters in a related business field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Management from an AACSB-accredited institution of higher education;
  • Knowledge of online/hybrid/face-to-face teaching;
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

Preferred Qualifications

 
  • A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
  • A record of mentoring students

Proposed Salary


 

Commensurate with experience.
