About the Role:

We have an excited new opportunity to join our Finance team.

Manages financial budget, forecasts and long-range planning processes. Acts as the Finance business partner with G&A leaders to prepare budgets and forecasts, to interpret results and handle all other G&A finance needs. Prepares financial analyses as needed to support business requirements and decision making. Must be team oriented, coachable, proactive and an excellent communicator.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Manage the financial planning cycle of the company including the preparation of the annual budget, long-range plan and latest estimates (LE)

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the FP&A system, "Planful"

  • Develop and maintain financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements and associated variance reporting to budget, prior periods and LE

  • Act as G&A Finance business partner to prepare annual budget and LE, review budget vs. actual results and handle ad hoc G&A requests

  • Prepare financial analyses to support business requirements and decision making

  • On-demand key metrics reporting

  • Mentoring and growing the team

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 6+ years of accounting/finance experience to include increasing levels of responsibility is required as well as at least 3 years of supervisory/management experience; life sciences experience preferred OR

  • Masters in Finance or MBA preferred and 4+ years of similar experience noted above

  • CPA preferred

  • Requires understanding of how the team / work area relates to other related areas and uses that knowledge to improve efficiency and produce high-quality work on problems with cross-functional impact

  • Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems/problems relating to own discipline

  • Frequently works cross-functionally as the representative for their area

  • Excellent computer skills in MS Suite, especially Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary for communication with company leadership

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Extensive FP&A systems expertise. Knowledge of Planful preferred

  • Experience with accounting software and procurement systems, Netsuite and Coupa preferred

  • Ability to bridge communication gaps between finance and non-finance communities

  • Ability to handle confidential materials and information in a professional manner

  • Process improvement mindset

  • Team oriented, coachable, proactive

  • US GAAP accounting knowledge

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $110,900.00-$160,850.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
