Your Role

The IT Operations team is responsible for the centralized management of all IT Division financial plans, resource capacity and accounts payable while driving efficiency and standardization in IT operational business processes. The Technology Business Management Specialist, Consultant will report to the Sr. Manager of the IT Operations team and will be supporting all financial aspects of our Information Security division. This role requires experience in budgeting and financial analysis, desired experience with Information Technology financials, including annual budget planning, monthly accruals & reclassification, cost center management end-to-end from invoicing to payment, forecasting, and an understanding of Total Cost of Ownership. As strategy matures and the budget is ever evolving, this role engages with many stakeholders across the organization - from the Vice President and leadership team of Information Security to cross functional team members and stakeholder across IT, Finance and Human Resources.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Operationalize financial data monthly by loading, validating, and reviewing on timely basis
• Research market/industry practices; collect and analyze data or information; draw appropriate conclusions
• Coordinate with cross functional production teams to test the new procedures & ensure seamless implementation
• Partner with leaders across IT to identify requirements and to recommend best practice- based solutions
• Manage and administer the dynamic budget for the Information Security organization & services, including, but not limited to facilitating the creation of the 3-year business plan, conducting monthly true-ups and forecasting, and maintaining and adjusting the budget as required
• Identify business process improvement opportunities, develop solution options, engage management and stakeholders to align on decisions, implement approved plan, and revise desk level procedures to reflect changes
• Facilitate and creatively resolve budget shifts and challenges
• Routine engagement with Information Security leadership on budget updates, priorities and tradeoffs
• Validate and approve budget spend requests
• Partner with similar functions and supporting groups to automate, modernize, and standardize

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
• Requires experience in budgeting and financial analysis, desired experience with Information Technology financials
• Requires strong data analysis skills, including communicating insights and recommendations and implementing steps to make them actionable
• Requires ability to influence and collaborate with leadership and peers across functions
• Experience with Technology Business Management Software, specifically Apptio a plus
• Passion for process modernization and collaboration

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 118800.00 to $ 178200.00 for California.
