RFP Business Development Specialist, Educational Services

The Business Development RFP Specialist will monitor and assess Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Responsibilities include collaborating with the RFP team for documentation, reviewing RFPs for red flags, liaising with legal, and ensuring submissions align with school district preferences. Additionally, the role involves covering colleagues' desks during their absence, proactively seeking new business, and managing contract renewals.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all RFP sites and proactively seek outRFPs
  • Monitor incoming RFPs and evaluate their potential forbidding
  • Partner with Business Development to determine the feasibility and strategic alignment of potentialbids
  • Collaborate with the RFP team to complete and submit required questions anddocumentation
  • Conduct a thorough review of RFPs to identify and address potential redflags
  • Collaborate with theRFP teamand legal to discuss issues and review RFPs to determine bidfeasibility
  • Work closely with the legal department to submit RFPs for review andapproval
  • Perform a comprehensive final review to ensure all documents are correctly signed and inorder
  • Ensure the RFP submission is fully complete and aligns with the school district's preferred submissionmethod
  • Track awardedRFPs
  • Obtain debrief when RFP was notawarded
  • Initiate calls to prospective clients during RFP slowdowns to generate new businessopportunities
  • Collaborate with the Business Development (BD) team and legal department on contractrenewals
  • Submit appropriate candidates for Educational Servicestoourprospectedschools
  • Cultivate and maintain valuable relationships with prospectiveclients
  • Provide temporary coverage for assigned tasks and responsibilities when a team member is absent, ensuring seamless workflowcontinuity
  • Strive for continuous improvement and careeradvancement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (direct industry experience can be substituted)
  • Proficient understanding of contracts
  • Proven success in a metrics-driven environment
  • Client-centered mentality and passion for customer service
  • Ability to relate to a variety of people and sustain meaningfulrelationships

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $28.85 hourly, which equates to $60,000 annually.

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager's discretion.
