Job Summary/Basic Function:
Everett Community College is seeking to build a pool of qualified instructors to teach business administration, accounting or economics. Applicants will be contacted as employment opportunities arise.

Responsibilities include instruction of general business, accounting, and economics courses. Class load may include professional/technical and university transfer courses.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachlors Degree in business related area.
  • Has some teaching or training experience in the post-secondary level.
  • Demonstrated experience, and/or classroom strategies for effectively instructing students across the range of diversity to include: cultures, ethinicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, class, and religion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in business related area.
  • Professional certification in related field, such as CPA, CMA, or MBA, etc.
  • One or more years teaching or training in the post-secondary level.
  • Commitment to continued updating of competencies, and training.
  • A philosophy of education appropriate to a learning centered community college.
  • Evidence of commitment to grow and change, and involvement in professional and campus activities.
  • Previous experience with on-line platforms such as Blackboard or Angel.
