Job Description

The Department of Psychology at Iona University invites applications for a renewable, full-time, clinical lecturer position to begin in fall 2023. We are seeking candidates who can teach a range of courses, including undergraduate and graduate courses focused on research methods, statistics, cognitive/behavioral neuroscience, abnormal psychology, and courses that match the successful candidate's interests and skills and that meet departmental needs. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 12 credits per term and serve as core faculty in the Psychology Department. The new hire will also support our interdisciplinary neuroscience program and provide service to the Department and University.

Required Skills

Applicants must have completed a PhD or PsyD in Cognitive/Neuroscience, Clinical, Experimental, or a related area of psychology from an accredited program prior to joining. Qualified ABD applicants will also be considered during the interview stage. Successful candidates will have the ability to engage with a diverse array of students, and a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in an educational environment. Previous college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
