This position is open to undergrad students only.
The College of Engineering & Business is preparing to launch a Center for Analytics and Management (CAM) through the Dahlkemper School of Business (DSB) as a counterpart to the Center for Manufacturing Technology (CMT) operating through the School of Engineering and Computing.
The College of Engineering & Business is preparing to launch a Center for Analytics and Management (CAM) through the Dahlkemper School of Business (DSB) as a counterpart to the Center for Manufacturing Technology (CMT) operating through the School of Engineering and Computing.
We are seeking a student worker for 10 hours per week for the spring semester who can shadow the operations of CMT and eventually take over the logistics of the CMT projects – scheduling, project management, tracking costs, invoicing, etc. These duties for CMT will eventually reside entirely within CAM’s scope.
Required Qualifications
Candidates will be undergraduate business majors who are sophomores or juniors.
The goal is to have a student fully learn/understand CMT’s operations via shadowing projects during the spring 2023 semester, then return next academic year to execute the project management activities of CMT.
Candidates need strong attention to detail, an understanding or willingness to learn project management and operations management concepts, solid technological competency (PowerPoint, Excel, and any project management software), and excellent interpersonal skills.
