Essential Job Duties
We’re looking for our next Business Intelligence analyst to join a collaborative team of five experienced analysts in a fast-paced and innovative environment where we are responsible for proactively providing data visualizations and reports that support NC State’s philanthropic and alumni engagement efforts.
Now is the right time to join our Analytics & Data Services team; as NC State celebrates the end of our successful $2 billion Think and Do the Extraordinary campaign, our team is focusing on enhancing our analytics and data strategies with a Tableau implementation, a complete revamp of our analytics and reporting strategy and an enhanced focus on customer consultation and outreach. This new strategy will help us evolve from strictly delivering data to more proactively providing key performance indicators (KPIs) and helpful metrics with which fundraisers can track their progress and performance. Dashboards and other self-service solutions are becoming a key part of our entire fundraising operation as they set a common place by which all staff can access important information.
In addition to our analytics overhaul, NC State anticipates the implementation of a new Advancement CRM over the next two years, which will provide more opportunities for our team to help set the future direction of how data is used in University Advancement. Reporting to the Director of Analytics & Data Services, this position will be eligible for flexible/hybrid (not 100% remote) work arrangements.
