Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Dean this position works under broad, administrative direction with significant responsibility in planning, organizing, and managing services associated with academic advising, outreach/admissions, information, testing, student employment, cooperative education, orientation, career planning, academic support, student discipline, and student behavioral intervention. Responds to inquiries from College departments, educational institutions, the community, students, and/or external agencies and supervises academic professional, classified, technical/support, and student staff. The Associate Dean provides direction in developing, expanding, revising, improving, and ensuring the successful operation of multiple functional areas.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
