The Office of Information Technologies (OIT) is searching for a Business Analyst Associate. This position is a two-year, limited-term role and is responsible for driving the Business Analysis (BA) and Quality Assurance (QA) approach and deliverables for Enterprise Platforms projects from requirements through execution.

- Collaborate with functional units to analyze business objectives and directions
- Facilitate business requirements definition
- Recommend business processes / technical solutions that provide the best return on investment to the organization by the use of low-code/no-code platforms like OnBase and ServiceNow.
- Work with visual designers and application developers to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the finished product.
- Develop and maintain design wireframes (basic mock-ups of applications) and specifications and will demonstrate critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills, knowledge of information technology, and an inherent understanding of the business to evaluate a problem/opportunity and define a solution.
- QA testing of solution deliverables; software solution requirements analysis; user story gathering; producing software solution acceptance criteria; creation, execution and maintenance of test scripts.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are critical to this role’s success. The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision, be proficient across multiple technologies, and share responsibilities as a knowledge expert for solutions supported by the Enterprise Platforms team, responsible for responding knowledgeably to partner issues and requests for assistance around existing solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or related field
- 1 to 6 months of experience as a Business Analyst / UX Designer
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to document existing and new processes. Knowledge of the ITIL framework
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Knowledge of Agile Project Management concepts. Knowledge of Adobe XD, Balsamiq, or other prototyping tools
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Ability to utilize technical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- College-level coursework on User Experience
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework
- Knowledge of Agile Project Management concepts
- Working knowledge of Adobe XD, Balsamiq, or any other prototyping tool
