Job Description

Spring Hill College, a Jesuit, Catholic, liberal arts college, invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Accounting at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to begin in August 2023. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience. Candidates with a Master’s in Accountancy and CPA are required, doctorate in accountancy from an AACSB accredited institution is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to teach a variety of undergraduate accounting courses (financial accounting, cost accounting, intermediate accounting, auditing and tax), as well as graduate level managerial accounting. Additional proficiency in areas outside of accounting, such as finance and quantitative methods, will strengthen the application. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, full involvement with the students, and the intellectual life of the college.
