Job Description


The Department of Finance in the College of Business at the University of Louisville is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, teaching-intensive, Instructor position (non-tenure-track) to begin August 1, 2023. The candidate will primarily support real estate programs within the College of Business. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach high-quality courses in real estate finance, real estate development and management, and other finance courses, as assigned. Teaching assignments may include both face-to-face classes and online distance learning classes. The candidate will also provide other professional and university service; with a focus on developing relations with the real estate business community in the support and development of real estate programs in the College of Business. �The anticipated workload is 70% teaching, 30% service. Salary is competitive.

Qualifications

Candidates must have:

Completed a master's degree in finance or real estate finance (or closely related field), or an MBA degree with a concentration or specialization in finance or real estate.� Candidates with a Ph.D. in finance or real estate will also be considered. The candidate must also have at least five years of work experience in real estate finance and/or real estate development.��
