Job Overview/Summary

As an MBA intern, you will be stretched to build on your existing knowledge, challenged to maximize your learning agility, and positioned to make a meaningful and lasting impact on your team. You will connect with senior leaders through your day-to-day work and through Starbucks internship programming, including executive lunch & learns and networking events.

 

During the Starbucks Summer Internship Program, you will:

Influence business performance: make an impact through value-add project work

Develop professionally: enhance your skills through participation in exclusive workshops and seminars

Foster connection: grow your network as you meet with and learn from Starbucks leaders

Starbucks internships are paid, 11-week assignments. Each student selected for a Starbucks internship may be considered for full-time positions, contingent on performance and budget, upon completion of their MBA program.

Identifying and defining key product innovation territories

Validating and testing new products for national scale

Coordinating product improvements that enhance the brand and improve sustainability

Driving product positioning, naming, pricing, and promotion decisions

Analyzing business performance to inform portfolio strategy

 

Your work as an MBA intern will offer broad exposure and rich experience across these areas, culminating in an actionable recommendation to shape the future of products at Starbucks.

Qualifications

Experience and/or strong interest in retail product management

Active enrollment in an accredited graduate program (MBA or other business-related graduate program)

Expected graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
